Paynounce is built with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. This policy explains how we handle data on your device. We do not collect your personal or financial data. Only local app preferences are stored on-device, and advertising may be served by Google AdMob as described below.
🔒 Your notification and financial data is processed entirely in-memory for Text-to-Speech announcements. It is never written to disk, stored in any database, or transmitted over any network.
The app uses NotificationListenerService (a core Android API) solely to detect incoming UPI payment alerts and announce the amount via Text-to-Speech. All notification content is processed in-memory and immediately discarded after the announcement. No notification content is ever logged, stored, or transmitted.

⚠️ Important: The Notification Listener permission is used exclusively for local Text-to-Speech announcements. No notification content is accessible to, or shared with, any advertising network including Google AdMob.

This data collection is governed entirely by Google's privacy policy. No data from your notifications, payment information, or any other app content is ever shared with AdMob or any advertising network.
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID (Android 12+) or opt out of ads personalization on older versions.

Paynounce is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
